bridles

We control the equine by the seven pressure points on the horses head.

  • Poll ( top of the head)
  • Point of Nose Lip Curb (directly under bottom lip)
  • Bars (the soft gum tissue inbetween the incisors and the molars on lower jaw)
  • Tongue
  • Roof of Mouth

Most Chiropractors are in agreement that the most sensitive pressure point is the poll. The Atlas is the first place to be bruised or out of position over a period of time. The average bridle whether it be a double or snaffle bridle applies pressure from both the headpiece from the noseband and the crown. Our Government Patent Bridle eliminates this direct pressure and disburses it to either side of the poll, in an altogether more humane way.
